Why Farm Animals?
We are often asked why we focus on farm animals. Why not dogs or cats? Because unfortunately, farm animals are treated very differently than pets. They are considered ‘commercial’, part of the food and agricultural industry. For this reason they usually miss out on the empathy and respect they deserve. All animals deserve a compassionate and caring environment with the chance to flourish.

Since we had enough secure space to accommodate farm animals at Martha’s Farm Animal Sanctuary, we made it our mission to create a safe and caring environment for them.
A place where farm animals that are neglected, abused or in need of a new home can live out the rest of their lives in peace.
