Why Provide Sanctuary for Farm Animals?
While many dogs and cats are protected by laws and supported by a network of rescues, farm animals often have no such safety net. Most animals raised for food in the U.S. have no legal protection from cruelty. At Martha’s Farm Animal Sanctuary, we offer a safe, lifelong home to animals who would otherwise be forgotten—giving them the love, care, and dignity every sentient being deserves.
At Martha’s, we believe that every life matters. We offer refuge to cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, goats, and others who have nowhere else to go—giving them the same compassion and care we would offer any beloved pet.
