Martha’s Farm Animal Sanctuary is a nonprofit committed to the rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of farm animals in need. Our mission is not only to provide a safe haven for abused and neglected animals but also to educate the public about compassion, sustainability, and animal welfare.

This year, Martha’s Farm Animal Sanctuary is expanding its programming to deepen our mission: to provide a safe, loving refuge for rescued animals and to foster meaningful human-animal connections that promote healing, compassion, and community.

We are excited to announce partnership with the Barbara Giordano Foundation (BGF). The BGF is committed to being a holistic wellness resource that addresses the unique emotional, physical and personal needs of women veterans throughout the US. This program speaks to our mission of fostering the human-animal connection. Helping animals -- and people. We look forward to developing programs and events with BGF for women who have served, so they can learn what the animals can teach us about wellness, and experience firsthand the peace and perspective they offer.

VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE

We are very excited and proud to announce a new collaboration with the “Exceptional Family Member Program” for active-duty military families at Vandenberg Space Force Base.

The EFMP program at Vandenberg SFB provides support services and resources for military families who have members with medical, educational, or developmental needs that require specialized care or accommodations.

Collaborating with Martha's Farm Animal Sanctuary can provide therapeutic benefits for these families, including stress relief, emotional support, sensory experiences, and opportunities for social interaction in a calm, natural environment that promotes healing and well-being.

We are honored to extend the sanctuary’s peace and purpose to those who serve, and we look forward to welcoming EFMP families with open arms and open pastures.
